Dear Graduates,
We wanted to take a moment to commend you on all of your achievements over the past 3 years. We’ve seen your work develop and thrive, with many of you growing forever more confident and sure in your art. When you started 3 years ago, did you ever believe you’d make it this far with all the challenges you faced? We did, but now you can look back and tell yourself, “I did it.”
As you go forward into the professional world, always continue learning. Learning doesn’t stop just because you’re done with school. You should always look to learn new techniques and ways to express yourself in interactions and in your art.
Graduates, you have completed amazing art for your portfolios, so keep on applying for those jobs and internships! You have the talent to go where you want to go. Now is the time to believe in yourselves and work towards where you want to be.
Even if you’re unsure if something is right for you, give it a chance. You might be surprised by what you find and what you like. As you progress in your career, you might realize a certain job isn’t for you, and that’s ok. You have the ability to explore and try different options. You correct your course so you can go where you want to go. This is part of your life journey, and it’s one that we’re excited to see all of you go on.
